Mommy and Wife, Loving Life
This blog is about my life and family. It is my personal thoughts on what is constantly going on around me. It follows myself, my husband, my son, and our little one on the way.

It's been a while...
Wow, so it has definitely been a while since I last posted. Life has been busy. Payson is now 7 months old and still going very strong in breastfeeding. At her 6 month checkup she was 19 pounds 2 ounces. She is growing and learning like crazy. She got 2 teeth in at about 5.5 months and then when she hit 6 months she learned to sit up and soon after started crawling and pulling up on everything. She is a very curious baby and gets into anything and everything that she can, which can be rough at times lol. But I love watchingn my babies grow. Taylor is amazingly smart and loves to learn (although we still are working on being fully potty trained :(..) I am thinking of trying unschooling for him to start learning new things while doing normal everday things. It could be a fun experience to help get him learning on a daily basis. I am also trying to get our family healthier and more natural, at first I was trying to do all organic but that just wasn't working for us. So now I am doing some organic and lots of fruits and veggies. I am also going to learn to make my own household cleaners and such. I am going to make Payson homemade teething biscuits later today. Hopefully I will start being able to get on more often to make more time for my blog and for research etc.

1 month
Payson is one month old today. She has been successfully breastfeeding since birth and its very obvious. She is up to 9 pounds 15 ounces, and is now 20.5 inches long. She is my little chunky butt. She is so ahead in her milestones as well the doctor kept saying how perfect she is. The only thing he said to work on is getting to drink from a bottle so she can eat when people watch her for me. I love watching her grow and learn as well as Taylor. Everything is going good in the Spaulding home. I'm going to watch some one tree hill and then go to bed.

New Beginnings
Payson Elaine was born February 7, 2013 at 7:25 a.m. She was 7 pounds 5 ounces and 19.5 inches long. We have a successful vbac delivery, I only pushed for 45 minutes. It was such a different experience from having my son but it was amazing. We are doing great at home. Darrick is back at work, so it's just me and the babies during the day but so far it has been going great. I'm tired a lot but other than that it has been decently easy. We are working on a routine now so it's something to work on.

so close
I haven't been on for some time now. Not a ton going on here just pregnancy and the norms of daily life. I am 36 weeks and 3 days as of today, getting so close, and I can not wait to meet my precious baby girl. My baby shower is in 2 days, on Saturday. I can't wait to have fun with friends and family and get stuff for my baby girl. When I went to the doctor this past Friday I was only dilated 1cm, hopefully I will be more this Friday. I also found out the I have carpel tunnel from pregnancy, they said it should go away within 3-4 days after I have her, but it hurts so bad right now. I have been nesting majorly, all I have wanted to do is clean and organize lately, which is awesome because I am getting my house nice and clean but at the same time it wears me out. I can't wait for Taylor to meet his little sister, I hope he is good with her and not mean. It's going to be a new and different experience for me and him, as we are going from him being the only child for almost 3 years and now we're adding a new baby. But I think he will do alright. He will just have to get used to it. <3

week 26
I am 26 weeks and 1 day. Everything is going good other than I am so very tired today. I am also still having some morning sickness, which is horrible. It ended at 18 weeks with my son and here I am 26 weeks with my daughter and still getting sick. I am doing pretty good in school, although I need to be more motivated to finish this semester, but after this semester I am not going back for probably a couple of years. Darrick is going to start classes in January, doing part time, he is thinking of going for law enforcement but isn't totally sure yet. We are working on getting everything together for Payson, and although we have quite a bit, there is still a lot that we need. Me and my mom have been working on planning the baby shower, it seems the theme is going be baby minnie mouse. I am excited for the holidays coming and my baby girl getting closer to being here. I am starting to nest really bad I am constantly wanting to clean and organize stuff, but I guess it's a good thing because I should have my house really clean by the time she gets here.

22 weeks
Well as of today I am 22 weeks 4 days. We found out the sex on September 14 and..... It's a GIRL!!! Payson Elaine is on the way. :) I am still in school until December 15, but I am only part time now. I am starting to get some ideas for my baby shower and I need to go do my registry soon. As of today I am getting very uncomfortable, no clothes fit right, my body is aching like my belly is trying to grow and stretch. But as uncomfortable as I am I can not complain too much, because not only am I getting my miracle baby but I am getting my little princess.

Week 15
So, I know it's been a little while since I have posted, figured it's about time for an update. I am now in college full time again, my first class was Monday, Intro to Psychology, it was honestly the most boring class that I have ever taken. I have keyboarding online, then tonight I have concepts of mathematics, and tomorrow I have intro to business. I have however decided that I will only be doing part time for my spring semester seeing as how I am due a month into classes. I am 15 weeks and 2 days along today, and feeling great. The morning sickness is finally starting to taper off, and I am getting my energy back. We will be finding out the sex of the baby on September 14, yay, I am so excited I can't wait to find out. As of right now my goals around the house, are to totally clean, organize, and simplify every room before the baby comes, because we just have way to much stuff, and only have a 2 bedroom apartment to squeeze 4 of us and all of our things into.
